The museum's impressive collection features more than one million objects and is conveniently located minutes from the Lofts at 7800.

Exhibits include:

Past Worlds

Past Worlds covers hundreds of millions of years to depict the state's ancient environments and their changing life forms. It features the world's largest display of horned dinosaur skulls, and visitors can watch as the staff prepares specimens for research.

Native Voices

This unique exhibit features the traditions of the state's eight federally recognized tribes. It's housed inside the circular gallery, and gives an in-depth look at Native American art and culture and interprets the deep memory of the indigenous people.

First Peoples

In the First Peoples exhibit, the story of Great Basin's prehistoric peoples is told through those who use science to understand the past. It's located inside the R. Harold Burton Foundation Gallery, and visitors can explore an accurate recreation of an archaeological site excavated in Sevier County in the 1960s.

The museum is open seven days a week, and admission for adults is just $14.95.
